Miso Glazed Sea Bass

This is Japanese-style miso glazed sea bass. This can be broiled, grilled or pan-fried. The pan-fried option gives a slightly crunchy crust on the outside though it doesn't look so good. :P

Need to marinate the fish for 24 hours. When you cook it, wipe out any marinade in excess and pat the fish dry.

For the marinade:

1/4 cup sake
1/4 cup mirin
4 tablespoons of white miso paste
3 tablespoons of sugar

You can also use the same recipe for black cod or halibut (thick cut of fish steaks). It should taste equally delicious.
